Digital product store development.
Selling files is easy. Delivering them securely and only to people who paid is the work.
A digital store has no stock, no shipping and no warehouse — and a completely different set of problems. Your product can be copied infinitely and shared in seconds. Delivery has to be reliable enough that a paying customer never has to email you, and controlled enough that a link posted publicly does not become free distribution.

Delivery that is neither leaky nor annoying
Direct file links get shared. Overly strict controls generate support tickets from legitimate customers who changed device. The workable middle is signed, expiring links tied to the order, a generous but finite download allowance, and an account area where a customer can always retrieve their purchase without contacting you.
Licensing without punishing customers
If you issue licence keys, the validation endpoint has to be dependable — if it goes down, paying customers cannot use what they bought. Build in offline grace periods and fail toward letting the customer work. Aggressive DRM mostly inconveniences honest buyers.
Refunds must revoke access
It sounds obvious and is frequently missed. A refund that leaves the download active, the licence valid or the course accessible is a straightforward route to abuse.
Common questions
Can you handle large files?
Yes, via object storage with signed URLs rather than serving through the application. That is both faster and cheaper at scale.
Can we sell courses as well as downloads?
Yes — module structure, progress tracking, drip release and completion. It is the same access-control problem in a different shape.
How do you stop people sharing links?
Expiring signed URLs tied to the order, download limits and anomaly monitoring. Nothing is absolute, but this removes the casual sharing that accounts for most of it.
Can we sell both digital and physical products?
Yes. Mixed carts need careful handling around shipping, tax and fulfilment, but it is a solved problem.
