Privacy policy.
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data Jeemmo (“we”, “us”) collects through the jeemmo.com website, why, how it is handled and what rights you have over it. It is written to align with the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, which apply to visitors in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
Jeemmo is an independent web-development practice operated by its owner. Jeemmo is the data controller for the information described here. For any question about your data, or to exercise a right below, contact [email protected].
What we collect
Information you send us. If you use the contact form we collect your name, your email address, the message you write and any file you choose to attach (for example a project brief). You provide these yourself; the attachment is optional.
Technical information. Like any website, our infrastructure processes basic technical data needed to serve pages and keep the site secure — principally your IP address and browser user-agent. This is handled by our hosting and by Cloudflare (see ‘Who processes your data’ below). We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build a profile of you.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the contact-form data for one purpose: to read and reply to your enquiry. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch about work, and in taking steps toward a possible contract at your request.
We use the technical data for the legitimate interest of delivering the site reliably and protecting it from spam and abuse. We do not sell your data, and we never add you to a marketing list without asking.
Cookies
The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookie that may be set is a functional one placed by Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact page, used solely to tell a human from a bot when you submit the form. It is not used to track you across sites.
Who processes your data
We rely on a small number of providers, each acting on our instructions:
Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery, security and the Turnstile anti-spam check. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request data. Our hosting and email provider — stores the site and delivers contact-form submissions to us by email. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties.
International transfers
Jeemmo is operated from outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. When you contact us, the data in your enquiry is transferred to and read by us there. We keep such transfers limited to what is needed to reply to you, and rely on your enquiry to us as the basis for the transfer. Cloudflare operates a global network and may process technical data outside your country under its own safeguards.
How long we keep it
Contact-form enquiries and any attached files are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and normally deleted within 24 months of last contact unless a longer period is required for an active project or by law. Uploaded files are stored in a private location that is not publicly accessible.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EU you have the right to ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; and receive it in a portable form. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month. To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU it is the supervisory authority in your country. We would ask that you raise it with us first so we can try to put it right.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and uploaded files are held outside the public web root. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we hold.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version always lives on this page.
