Pricing rules are the product
Two adults and a child in high season with a hotel pickup and an optional extra is a different price from the headline rate. Modelling those rules explicitly — rather than hard-coding combinations — is what lets you change pricing without a developer.
Deposits and balances
Most travel takes a deposit at booking and the balance nearer departure. That means scheduled balance reminders, automatic collection where you hold a card, and a clear policy on what happens when the balance is not paid.
